This typical Portuguese drink is a fruit brandy, produced by traditional methods from ripe arbutus (fire color). The strawberry tree is an autochthonous plant of the Mediterranean region, whose fruits – arbutus – are of the berry type, from 7 to 30 mm in diameter and are formed in late autumn, maturing until the autumn of the following year. Ideal as a digestive.
