As if it were an agenda, interpreting the work of others is like picking up a song that has already been sung 1000 times. There are always different ways to sing it. This vineyard, in areas with an ancestral vine, has a delicate combination of notes, say grape varieties, which result in a Classic (drinking wine) from the Douro. A set of more than 20 notes, in which Donzelinha Branco, Reconco, Carrega Branco, are some of the ones we’ve heard played, say drink. Wine made from 100% old vines. Manual harvest for 18kg boxes. Direct pressing of whole bunches, cold decanting, fermentation in barrels with bâttonage. Aging for 10 months in neutral barrels. Citrus yellow, fresh and mineral nose with some notes of cream. The attack is dense, rich with good acidity.
