Some of the most famous Vintage Ports in the world have been produced on the terraces of Quinta do Noval since 1715. The 150-hectare property includes around 30 hectares of olive groves whose cultivation is an integral part of the annual life of this famous Quinta. The olives are picked by hand in winter, two months after the harvest. They are then macerated in stone millstones and cold pressed. The result is an oil of great character and purity, excellent as an accompaniment to salads or for cooking.
