Cartuxa red is a blend of Alicante Bouschet and Aragonês planted in the oldest vineyards of Fundação Eugénio de Almeida. The grapes are crushed and fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Follow The wine is aged in bottle for 18 months before release. Garnet color. It shows notes of dried fruit and raisins, plum, fig, some dried vegetable, scrub and a very specific tuning. Well built in the mouth, it has breadth, quality fruit and a classic register. Immense tannins, long and persistent aftertaste.
