A classic red wine from the Douro. It has a deep violet color, with aromas of wild flowers and dark berries, with a rich and tasty presence in the mouth, soft tannins and a touch of spice in the persistent finish. Here, the grapes are cut into small boxes and transported to the cellar where they are crushed after being fully destemmed. Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats in cold maceration for a period of 4 days, controlled temperature and gentle pump over, for a superior aromatic and polyphenolic extraction. About 30% of this wine is aged for 12 months in new and old French oak casks, and the rest stored in stainless steel vats to maintain its fruity character.
