Churchill’s Grafite Touriga Nacional Red Wine 2014

Grafite Touriga Nacional is produced exclusively from Touriga Nacional grapes grown in the Cima-Corgo and Douro Superior sub-regions. This wine is intense and complex in the mouth, with a closed violet color, aromas of wild basil and notes of fresh green peppers and spices. In the mouth, velvety and very well balanced, a combination of green pepper notes and resin nuances, ending with an excellent natural acidity. 100% of this wine aged for 12 months in 2nd and 3rd year French oak barrels. In vinification, total destemming with crushing, long and prolonged cold maceration, together with gentle pumping over. It was strained and slightly filtered before being bottled.
