In the constant search for high quality products, the first Rosé DOC Alentejo – Évora sparkling wine was produced at Adega Cartuxa in the 2010 harvest. This 2014 Cartuxa Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine was obtained by the classic method resulting in a fresh and elegant wine that reinforces the excellence of the Cartuxa brand. Vinification: After careful selection of the grapes and harvesting at the ideal point of maturation, the base wine fermented in a stainless steel tank, with controlled temperature, after direct pressing. Aging on fine lees for 6 months with periodic batónnage. Second fermentation in bottle, using the classic method, followed by aging on lees and intermediate batônnages for 36 months, in the cellars of the Cartuxa Monastery.
