Scala Coeli, owes its name to the Monastery of Santa Maria Scala Coeli, commonly known as the Carthusian Monastery, where Carthusian monks remain in silence and prayer. It is the result of the best vinifications each year of less traditional Alentejo varieties. In 2019 it resulted from the vinification of the Encruzado variety. The grapes were carefully picked and taken to the cellar, where the berries were carefully selected. Only 2944 bottles were produced.
