Taylor’s Fine White is a blend of wines produced from white grapes, which grow mainly in the higher elevations of the Douro Valley. The grape varieties used include Arinto, Boal (Sémillon), Codega, Esgana Cão, Folgasão, Gouveio, Viosinho and Rabigato. The wines are aged in wooden barrels for about three years, where they acquire softness and character. They are then blended to produce a rich white Port, in a full-bodied and smooth traditional style. On the nose it is rich and fragrant, with aromas of sweet fruit and hints of honey and wood. Full-bodied, velvety palate, long and tasty finish. Ready to be consumed. It does not need to be decanted.
