Taylor’s Select Reserve is made from a blend of Port wines produced in the Baixo Corgo and Cima Corgo areas of the Douro Valley. The wines that make up the lot are selected for their depth of color, intensity of fruit and voluminous and firm palate. These wines are aged for approximately three years in oak barrels, where they soften and evolve, without losing their freshness, their intense fruity character and their deep ruby color. It has a deep ruby-red color, with a garnet halo. Classic nose of intense black fruit. Firm, vigorous, full-bodied, with aromas of fresh fruit and a long aftertaste. Ready to be consumed. It does not need to be decanted.
